The primary responsibilities of the Web Developer II role include development of website HTML and CSS templating and content management functionality.  This includes setup, configuration and ongoing management of content repositories. The Web Developer II role is also responsible for client-side JavaScript development in both stand-alone features and as part of JavaScript frameworks; server-side functionality in PHP, node.js or similar technologies; domain and DNS management;  web hosting environment monitoring and management; source control management; and peer code reviews. 

All professional service positions are expected to drive revenue and customer satisfaction through up to date communication, accurate time keeping, clear documentation and overall issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with customers and\or Project Manager to determine requirements\user stories and potential future needs that will be leveraged to design a forward-thinking website
  • Provide timely and complete responses to customer requests
  • Provide site overviews and\or training to customers 
  • Provide proactive communication with customers and\or Project Manager to keep them informed on project or incident progress, setting clear expectations for follow-up, and following through on those commitments
  • Conduct administration and troubleshooting for customer’s deployed websites

  • Work on website development tasks that include planning, design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment
  • Coordinate and solve complex technical challenges 
  • Develop all applications with a focus on security integrity

  • Test new technologies and methodologies 
  • Create and maintain project and technical documentation

  • 3-5 years of experience in the following:  
    • Drupal
    • Wordpress 
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, some JS framework experience
    • Advanced HTML templating
    • JavaScript client-side scripting
    • Git source management
    • CMS management and configuration
    • Manage domains and DNS 
    • Web hosting environments health monitoring, lifecycle management 
    • Production environment health monitoring, diagnosis, triage, lifecycle management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Design\UI\UX experience 
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies
