The Interactive/Development Solution Specialist’s primary role is to identify opportunities within the defined market and identify customers looking to leverage custom software development or applications to enhance their business functions.  The position will engage with clients for requirements gathering to advise them on solutions and/or services that drive business value to support long-term strategic customer relationships. 

The Solution Specialist will strategize with the supporting team on application innovations and assist in managing business partner engagements. They will work closely with both customers directly and NCI Account Managers to enhance relationships to develop ongoing technology plans that ensures that our solutions are successfully implemented and adopted. The Solution Specialist will assist in creating & evolving deliverables including designs, qualifying budget/timeline information & project plans, as well as deliver, monitor and report on pre-sales statuses for projects awaiting approval. The goal of this position is to provide an advisory and consultative role for any new Interactive/Development project, with a focus to enhance technology adoption for our existing customers while discovering & developing relationships for new opportunities in our market.

Responsible Innovation 

  • Provide general technology consulting on high level functions including, business functions, security, system analysis, design, integrations, documentation, training and implementation in various environments
  • Understand client concepts and applications that are required for their organization 
  • Assist in designing and implementing managed services plans, deliverables, monitoring and reporting to clients
  • Promote innovative solutions that solve unique business problems and repeat those successes in our market
  • Assist in developing communication strategies with sales and marketing
  • Develop a strong solution expertise and understanding of technology and train other sales team members

Commitment to Employees

  • Collaborate with NCI team and management in maintaining and expanding business relationships/market share with existing and new customers
  • Ongoing: structure meetings and recap with sales reps and is responsible for defining and delivering the recommended solution
  • Assist and advise members during the quoting process of the recommended technology
  • Work closely with sales team to provide status updates and insights learned during deployment.  Relay market needs and requirements back to internal teams
  • Work with other subject matter experts and teams to address complex solutions
  • Develop, streamline, automate and/or deliver reports for internal team members
  • Meetings can be conducted independently or with sales reps
  • Deliver accurate weekly reporting on activities and opportunities to management and Account Managers
  • Track client meetings and opportunities in ConnectWise



  • Identifying opportunities including finding clients, driving meetings, documenting requirements, preparation of proposals, delivery to clients, and remaining in constant communication during the customer engagement to ensure client success 
  • Responsible for performing the tasks listed above to provide the customer a project budget and timeline for customer to qualify / validate project feasibility
  • Understanding of software development, and Microsoft Power Applications is a plus
  • Ability to gather relevant business and technical requirements
  • Effectively communicate technology solutions with management professionals
  • Must be able to build trust in high level business relationships
  • Responsible for providing ongoing planning, investments and best practices
  • Ability to promote a positive team environment to achieve growth initiatives

  • Overall development services growth and driving to achieve defined sales goals
  • Client success & retention while working with the delivery team and sharing internal sales education
  • Work with Marketing to develop and enhance a go to market strategy for solutions
  • Develop future goals, performance metrics, incentives plan & success tracking
  • Identify, report & close development related opportunities
  • Achieve quarterly growth targets in Interactive Services department
